It was a tremendous honour that the Jostiband was asked to participate in the 2013 King's Boat Trip. On the beautiful ship the Bounty, a two-masted brigantine (38 x 6.5 metres), the instruments were set up.

It was a tremendous honour that the Jostiband was asked to participate in the 2013 King’s Boat Trip. On the beautiful ship the Bounty, a two-masted brigantine (38 x 6.5 metres), the instruments were set up.
After the long wait, during which we were not bored as there was plenty to see on and around the IJ, the Royal boat finally approached the Bounty. With verve, ‘Twee emmertjes water halen’ was played for the brand new King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima, and the three princesses. They visibly enjoyed the performance and thanked us with a warm applause.
